Airtel Africa, The pan-African mobile telecommunications services provider, is celebrating it’s 10th anniversary as it also reaches a 110 million subscriber milestone.
Bharthi owned Airtel Africa currently operates across 14 countries in sub-Sahara Africa. And according to Raghunath Mandava – the company’s CEO – Airtel Africa is playing a supporting role in the ongoing social transformation in Africa.
Airtel Africa – since its rebranding from Zain in 2010 – has enabled millions of African access to innovative mobile services and added several others to financial inclusion.
Currently listed on the London stock exchange, the mobile operator says it will continue to expand its services with innovations on 4G and 5G infrastructure platforms. Airtel Africa currently employs more than 3000 people across the continent.
