BT, Virgin Media and Alcatel-Lucent among featured speakers with live demonstrations planned in G.fast, GPON, Vectoring and Virtualization
14 July 2015: Informa has today announced an impressive line-up of speakers for the 15th Broadband World Forum, which takes place at ExCel London on 20-22 October 2015. Telecom giants BT, Virgin Media, nbn and EE, along with the show’s other top-level partners Huawei, Alcatel-Lucent, ADTRAN, Ericsson and ZTE will take centre stage to discuss the industry’s hottest topics.
Broadband World Forum, which this year is themed Bringing Fixed-Mobile Convergence to Life, will also introduce new topics for the 7,800+ registered attendees. As well as Fixed-Mobile Convergence, there is a focus on Content Delivery Networks, Connecting the Unconnected, and Developing Quality of Experience (QoE) Networks. In addition, delegates will discuss some of the biggest topics affecting the telecoms, media and technology community including virtualization, network intelligence, access evolution, mobile broadband and the Internet of Things.
The 2015 edition will host an unprecedented line-up of speakers with a suite of C-level executives representing the world’s largest operators and solution providers. Tom Mockridge, CEO at Virgin Media, will share the opportunities and challenges of the company’s multi-billion pound network expansion across the UK, while Bill Morrow, CEO at nbn, Australia, will highlight his plans for delivering a multi-technology offering in Australia. Not to be missed this year is keynote speaker Gavin Patterson, Group CEO at BT, who will present a long-awaited visionary insight into the company’s plans for delivering ultrafast broadband across the UK.
