Zambian start-up Massnet Innovation Solutions is said to be seeking an investor with a view to enabling it to deploy an LTE network. According to CommsMEA, Massnet, which is headed by local entrepreneur Rabson Lungu , acquired an LTE licence in August last year, with the concession giving it spectrum in the 2.6GHz band. Mr Lungu was cited as saying that his company was seeking a ‘serious stakeholder’, and it is understood that Massnet is open to a partner taking a majority shareholding.
